I LOVE this series! Eric and his friends are back to find the second stone and free another of the princes of Eshla. The characters have matured wonderfully and are ready to face the danger of another trip back in time, this time to Victorian England at Christmas. Dickens comes to life and American readers will love the taste of Britain we don’t often get. I love the history and the introduction of a new character, Levi, is a great way to layer in the tricky issue of racism.
Readers will enjoy this second installment to the series and be eager to read the next. Well-written and well-edited, it’s a pure pleasure to read. Highly recommended for all ages!
